EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, 53mm, 18K gold (tested) original HC with front shield engraved "E.E. White, April 1st, 1860.," signed gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, KWKS (key not included with this lot), lever escapement with moustache counterpoise, 15J, gilt mvt, s#15539 to case. Gross weight of assembled watch 69.6 dwt (108.3 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, good gilt tone, balance cock with fine scratches, balance cock steelwork with oxide; dial with hls between 11 and center, small hl above seconds-register, small fine scratch to left side of seconds-register; excellent hands, some small bits of oxide to tip of minute; case shows medium wear, some scattered dings to rear, some scattered small nicks to front, reduced engine turning detail with full loss through shoulders, case front lift spring performing little (if any) function as lid must be manually lifted and as it will tilt back to nearly closed with gravity; 14K rose gold (tested) replacement bow pivots freely, brass push shows ample wear and has dings to its upper surface; good glass crystal.
